13 Lochmore Terrace, Charleston SC

This 2,300 square foot, 4 bedroom, 3 bath home, which we completely renovated, is located on Shadowmoss Golf Course, between hole 11 and 12. It sits on a half-acre lot located on a cul de sac and includes an in-ground pool.

The original home included a large sunroom overlooking the backyard that lacked a purposeful flow. We replaced all of the confused sliding glass doors and turned an uninspired box into a living, breathing private resort space full of light, fresh air and ambience that can be enjoyed during any season or weather!

In the center of the first floor, disrupting the natural flow, was a structural beam with an air duct dividing the living room from the dining room and kitchen and separating the heart and soul of the home. We restructured the second-floor load and opened the ceiling space to combine the dining room and kitchen and add unity where there was none.

The kitchen was completely remodeled, including the addition of brand new cabinets, tile backsplash, and granite countertops.

Each of the bathrooms was re-designed and filled with splashes of modern art and drenched with luxury.

The master bedroom and bathroom flourished in a wonderful rebirth which included a new walk-in closet, full tile shower with frameless glass surround, beautiful stand-alone tub with a free-standing faucet, and an elegant double sink vanity with luxurious granite top and shelf tower.

Before

We put on a fresh coat of paint, changing its appearance from shy red to a character-filled gray and updated the exterior colors of the house to a subtle, calming blue.

After

The new metal roof, beaming of Charleston emotion, is home to both a symphony of raindrops during tropical storms and the dance of a heat mirage in the warm summer sun, south of the Mason Dixon Line.
