Boat Ramps

The boat ramps at Parrish Park are located along the Indian River Lagoon in Titusville, and provide access for fishing and watersports. They also serve as a popular launch viewing location for the many rocket launches that take place at Kennedy Space Center.

The paved parking at the boat ramps on either side of State Road 402 provides 46 vehicle and 47 boat trailer spaces. There are also unpaved parking areas on the river shoreline that can accommodate an additional 100 vehicles.

This section of the East Coast Greenway, and Florida Coast-to-Coast Trail is a highlight of Titusville. It runs for 6.5 miles from Gobblers Lodge Road (parking, portalet) to the Maytown Trailhead (parking, portalet).

Picnic Areas

Parrish Park at Titusville A Max Brewer Memorial Pkwy is a great place to picnic and watch rocket launches. The 36.6-acre park is located on both sides of the Max Brewer Causeway, from the east end of the draw bridge to the security gates at Kennedy Space Center.

There are several picnic areas and barbecue grills available to enjoy a meal or relax with family and friends. A fishing pier and boat ramps also provide access to the Indian River Lagoon for fishing and water sports.

Cyclists are encouraged to use the paved bike path along the Max Brewer Causeway, from Parrish Park south to Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. Riders should be aware of road crossings at the Max Brewer Bridge, Draa Rd, SR 46 and Aurantia Rd, and take care not to cross them unnecessarily. Check this out!

Fishing

In addition to the water, there are also a number of bird species that can be seen at this park. Bufflehead, Lesser Scaup, Dunlin, Common Loon and Horned Grebe are frequently spotted here, as are wading birds like Reddish Egret and Roseate Spoonbill.

The park also offers a great view of the shuttles that shuttle across the Max Brewer Bridge to Kennedy Space Center’s security gates. It is a popular destination for watching rocket launches, and if you show up early enough, you can get a good spot to view the launch.
