Chain of Lakes Park in Titusville FL is a huge park that has everything you need for a fun day. It has a lakefront area, baseball/soccer fields, a tall viewing tower, playgrounds and miles of walking trails.

1. The Lagoon
Located on a ribbon of public land buffering the Indian River Lagoon, Chain of Lakes Park features a series of man-made lakes that were designed to treat stormwater runoff before releasing it into the lagoon. The emerald patches of woods along the perimeter are brimming with egret, white ibis and dozens of other birds.
The 92-acre park is also home to a bird watching tower, lighted soccer fields and softball fields, multi-use fields and restrooms. This is a fantastic spot to spend the day with the family.
This Brevard County recreation complex was the result of a unique partnership between Eastern Florida State College, the City of Titusville and Parrish Medical Center. Designed to treat surface runoff before it enters the lagoon, it features beautiful lakes, nature trails, observation towers and ball fields. The paved walking trails offer plenty of opportunities to see wildlife. Plus, the 57 foot tall observation tower provides a view of radio controlled boat races and skydivers parachuting to Arthur Dunn Airpark.
2. The Beach
Chain of Lakes Park consists of 92 acres of wetlands and man-made lakes. Designed to treat stormwater runoff before it enters the Indian River Lagoon, Chain of Lakes Park also features an extensive trail system with a 3-mile+ paved loop and observation tower.
The wetlands and lakes are home to many interesting and impressive birds including Glossy Ibis, Cattle Egrets, Mottled Ducks and Roseate Spoonbills. There are several observation decks that offer a great view of pristine lake views.
This vacation destination boasts an array of recreational facilities to make your stay more convenient, and the beach is no exception! Drop in at the hot tub, steam room and sauna to relax after a day of fun in the sun. And if you want to get active, you can always visit the fitness center or the indoor pool. 3. The Trails
Chain of Lakes Park in Titusville FL is a large recreation complex featuring wetlands and lakes with walking bridges connected to 3-miles of paved trails. The trail system is a great place to view wildlife and also has several playgrounds for kids.
The park also features a variety of sports fields including 7 softball fields and 8 soccer fields all with their own lighting. There is also an observation tower for a bird watcher’s view of the park.
The trail around the outer of the Chain of Lakes starts with a ribbon of cabbage palm hammock on the right leading to the first ballfields. You can walk to the edge of the lake or follow the loop to its south end and cross Grove Road for a 2.8 mile hike.
4. The Boat Ramps
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) operates over 200 public boat ramps, as well as a number of related facilities. Some of these facilities are free to use, while others are charged a fee. The FWC has a full-time crew that is charged with ensuring the safety and integrity of these sites.
This 4.15-acre community river park has one of the most interesting boat ramps in the state, and it is also home to a large stormwater retention lake that is stocked with some genuinely impressive fish. The most significant component of this facility is the large motorized lift.
Besides the obvious boating related activities, the Chain of Lakes Park also has some other cool things to see and do including a 3 mile paved hiking and biking trail and five lighted adult softball fields. The chain is a good fit for the locals of Titusville as well as those visiting on vacation from out of town, but be sure to check the weather forecast and bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
